Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate as well as the captain of 2012's Fierce Five as well as the 2015 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In 2012 her year, she received gold in the team competitions and also the floor exercises. For the balance beam she earned a bronze. This meant that she was the first American at the Olympics with the top medal count. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning gold in the team event. This earned both she as well as Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. In addition, she was awarded silver medals at the individual all-around and for the floor workout. The three years that passed between the Olympic Games she won, she took a break. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American squads at the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly is a part of The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. She hopes to pursue growing her collection of leotards. Fierce will be out later this summer.
