Jacques Bermon Webster III (born on April 30 1993) is an American rapper from the United States. His stage name is the name of his favorite uncle, with the initials and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh, and followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became his first Billboard 200 number one album. The following year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo titled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys was released on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Scott's single "Franchise" which featured Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the number one spot within a mere decade , in the year 2020.
